Angelina Jolie trying to lose 9.5kg in 21 days for film Salt

If reports are to be believed, Angelina Jolie is trying to shed 9.5kg in 21 days for a role in her new movie Salt.In the film, the actress plays a CIA assassin called Evelyn Salt who is forced to disguise herself as a man.The shooting of the film has started in Washington DC, where she has been seen running through the streets of the city wearing a blonde wig for the role."To play a man convincingly Angelina is adamant she needs to lose her curves.According to friends, Jolie is so determined to look like a boy she has turned to the Martha's Vineyard Detox Diet to help shrink her already slender frame.The extreme diet - which was popular in Hollywood in 2007 - encourages followers to ingest liquids every two hours to 'cleanse the body'. Solid food is strictly prohibited.According to reports, the 33-year-old started her detox three days before last month's Oscars and is already battling fatigue.Another source told Britain's Grazia magazine, "She has been trying to go for the full 21 days but it's tough."She's lost around eight pounds (3.6kg) but is now introducing a couple of small meals in between shakes as she was starting to feel weak," the source added.Jolie's role was originally intended for Tom Cruise, but the character was rewritten after he dropped out.

Jade Goody has only a week to live

British reality TV star Jade Goody, who has been terminally ill with cancer, has just a week to live, say doctors.The Big Brother star's condition has worsened as her cancer has spread to her brain. Consultants at London's Royal Marsden Hospital believe that she has only a week to live, thesun.co.uk reported.Goody, 27, will be baptised along with her kids - Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4 - at the hospital despite not having the strength to speak properly or even stand unaided.

Nano Europa unveiled at Geneva motor show

World’s cheapest car Nano from Tata Motors that had caught global attention at its unveiling at the Delhi Auto Expo in 2008 will also be rolled out in select international markets within the next two years and called Nano Europa. Tata Motors will launch Nano on March 23 in Mumbai.In a statement, Tata Group head Ratan Tata said Nano has also generated wide interest in developed countries and Tata Motors would launch Nano Europa within the next two years.Tata Motors is keen on introducing Nano in European markets keeping in mind the growing market for low-cost and fuel efficient cars.Nano Europa will have some advanced features like air-bags and ABS, but its cost might see only marginal increase compared to its Indian version, company sources said.Mr. Tata, who unveiled Nano Europa along with concept luxury sedan Prima and electric vehicle Indica Vista EV at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show, said Nano Europa would have a slightly longer wheelbase of 2.28 metres and powered by a 3-cylinder sporty all-aluminium MPFI engine matched with a 5-speed automatic transmission and electric power steering. The gasoline engine will be class-leading, providing high fuel efficiency and low carbon-dioxide emissions.
